HY-Shield Virtual Expert is a secure, real-time visual interactive technical support service offered by Hyster-Yale Group. It facilitates collaboration between customers, dealers, and HYG experts in sales, service, and business areas within the forklift industry. This service enhances customer experience by providing immediate support, which helps in building relationships, increasing uptime, reducing maintenance costs, and offering equipment training for less experienced technicians. Virtual Expert utilizes a hands-free headset, software, WIFI connection, and an OE support expert to create a private and interactive experience. It provides immediate access to augmented content and remote expertise, accelerating decision-making in the field and contributing to knowledge management systems. Virtual Expert is designed for troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining assets in the field, offering a secure and interactive experience with features like live video, audio sharing, telestration, and image sharing, even in low bandwidth conditions. It can be operated in Expert mode, with full features and settings access, or Field mode, providing a simplified interface for large service teams or external guests. HYG also provides infrastructure services, collaboration devices, and management capabilities. The Virtual Expert Manager tool allows enterprises to enforce security and privacy settings, control network/bandwidth, analyze usage, and manage user licenses.
